Awoui builds on free and open source software (notably Open WebUI, Nextcloud, Keycloak, Matrix, Vaultwarden, NetBird, WireGuard, Forgejo), each distributed under its own license and remaining the property of its respective authors.
The code written specifically for Awoui is published under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0). The structure, texts, visual identity and content specific to the site are protected by copyright. Any reproduction not covered by the applicable license requires the publisher's prior authorization.
The soundtrack of the "Universe" immersive experience uses music by Scott Buckley (scottbuckley.com.au), distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.
